Scotland u18 held their final assessment weekend 17th & 18th February in Edinburgh, ahead of selection for this seasons u18 girls Six Nations Competition, concluding with a training game held at the HIVE stadium 4G pitch (located next door to Murrayfield!).

Tamworth’s u18 girls captain, Lucie, was identified and invited to attend as one of approximately 50 girls, 15 of which were via the ‘Scottish Qualified Pathway’, with Lucies eligibility coming via her Grandma being born in Scotland!

Lucie played/trialled at back row, playing blind side flanker (#6) and even scored a try during the training games, receiving very positive feedback from the Pathway manager.

Unfortunately, Lucie did not make the final cut but the opportunity and whole experience have been a fantastic development opportunity.
