U18 GIRLS: SANDAL (NATIONAL CUP)

Tamworth under 18 girls played Sandal’s u18s girls in the knockout stages of the National cup on Sunday 4th February, being in the top 16 teams in the country. The game took place at Sandal’s home ground so a mixture of a long car drive, windy conditions and a fierce opposition made for an interesting game. The final score was 38-10 to Sandal.

Our brilliant try scorers were Ellie and Lily, though all 16 girls played with great amounts of grit and determination. Dame’s of the game go to Millie for the forwards for her constant go-forward movements and turnovers in rucks, and Lily for her perfect running lines that awarded her with a try.
